Studio Principal Linda Palmer was born in England and emigrated to New Zealand in 1988. From an accountancy background originally, Linda was a partner in two major businesses in England with her husband and over the years also built up a reputation as a successful abstract painter working in oils, having many well received exhibitions. In 1995 Linda finally managed to follow her true passion and became a full-time professional photographer, opening a Studio in Whakatane initially shooting weddings and family portraits.

In 1998 Glamshotz Photography was also launched, specializing in glamour makeover photography, and this has run alongside Linda Palmer Photography since then, building a reputation for stunning makeovers and creative images.

Glamshotz originally was for women by a team of women, but now due to the demand for men's photography, men have also become Glamshotz clients.

A second Linda Palmer Photography & Glamshotz studio has now been opened in Tauranga and more are planned within the next two years.
